The Heists | “Seasons Turn” | Sometimes songs feel like messages from your unknown self. Erin quit her job to start her own business and play more music two months after writing "Seasons Turn".
The Heists | “Please Let Me In” | A heartbreaking banger co-written during a trip to Louisiana in the fall of 2024.
Folk duo The Heists perform original songs that will transport you to the backrooms of Alaska’s close-knit bluegrass and folk scene. Known for their toe-curling country and bluegrass harmonies, Erin Heist (guitar) and Andrew Heist (mandolin, fiddle) bring bluegrass drive, country emotion, and old time groove to their original Alaskan folk music. The Heists are members of the Muskeg Collective (Room #1226), a co-op label of songwriters based in Juneau, Alaska.
The Heists are recording their first co-written album this spring. Stay tuned for release in Winter 2026/Spring 2027.
Erin Heist’s album “From the Land of Rusted Dreams” was released in 2022 and features Andrew on every track.
